EQUISCHOLARS HQ

Supporting young people to feel safe, connected and ready to learn.

Our Mission

We help children and young people build resilience, confidence and emotional regulation through equine-partnered learning and trauma-aware alternative provision. Grounded in neuroscience, polyvagal and attachment theory, we create safe, relational environments where young people can reconnect, regulate and thrive.

By combining evidence-based equine behavioural principles with outdoor experiential learning, we support CYP to develop essential life skills, strengthen their nervous system and rebuild trust in themselves and others. Our goal is to empower every young person to feel safe, capable and ready to transition back into education and their wider community.

Education Services

Our education programmes offer a trauma-aware, equine-partnered and nature-based alternative to traditional learning environments. Grounded in neuroscience, polyvagal theory and attachment-aware practice, we create safe, relational spaces where children and young people can regulate, reconnect and re-engage with learning. Across all pathways, learners benefit from hands-on experiences, small group teaching and nervous-system-informed strategies that build confidence, curiosity, communication and resilience. Our goal is to equip each young person with the skills, stability and self-belief needed to move toward education, independence and lifelong wellbeing.
